2024 Equity & Justice Symposium: Collective Courage

The 2024 Equity & Justice Symposium, which took place at the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens, was an incredible convening of Black-led organizations, funders, and public officials to discuss this year's theme: Collective Courage. From funders discussing what they’re doing to bridge the equity gap for BLOs in Southern California to organizational leaders speaking about the toll Courage takes on them, the 3rd annual convening left the BEC ecosystem inspired and motivated.

The day's keynote speakers include Assemblymember Isaac G. Bryan and Joanna S. Jackson, President and CEO of the Weingart Foundation.
