Grantmaking
The Organizational Resiliency Tracks are application-based grant programs that combine funding and structured cohort-based learning designed to share knowledge, build skills, and develop confidence among BEC member organizations. Learning content is tailored to the program itself; however, all programs use a framework of equity and justice that integrates cultural intelligence into their delivery method. These programs couple nonprofit management and technical assistance with multi-year infrastructure development grants. Technical assistance is provided by SGS staff and highly vetted program partners who bring their own methods to the work.

Organizational Resiliency grant programs are organized into three tracks:

BUILD
Organizational Resiliency Track is designed to support BLOs with the building blocks (core infrastructure) of organizational development to ensure they have a strong foundation.

ENGAGE
Organizational Resiliency Track is designed to provide BLOs with support that strengthens their external engagement with key stakeholders.

CATALYZE
Organizational Resiliency Track is designed to support BLOs who build power in Black communities.

The BUILD and ENGAGE grant programs are designed to provide six-month to one-year training and coaching support, coupled with multi-year funding to support the design and execution of organizational infrastructure development projects. The CATALYZE grant program is designed to be one-to-two-year grants that support an organization or network of organizations implementing infrastructure development projects focused on power-building and/or scaling impact.
