Black Equity Collective

Build Trust. Strengthen the Field.

The Black Equity Collective (BEC) connects and cultivates Black-led organizations (BLOs) and funders to build a thriving ecosystem of shared power, purpose, and possibility. We strengthen Black leadership, deepen collaboration, and center joy as a strategy for liberation.

We build our network with care, through a thorough and values-driven assessment process that identifies eligible organizations within our catchment area committed to advancing Black equity. This intentionality ensures that every member adds to the collective power, brilliance, and impact of our ecosystem.

How We Show Up

We Create Spaces for Belonging

Because community is the strategy. We cultivate environments where Black leaders can connect, build trust, and remember that rest and joy are resistance.

We Learn Out Loud

Knowledge is collective—and we share it boldly. We bring BLOs and sector experts together to expand understanding, exchange ideas, and grow stronger in shared purpose.

We Share What Sustains Us

Resources. Tools. Information. Opportunities. Everything we offer is rooted in love and designed to strengthen the long-term health and sustainability of Black-led organizations. We invest in capacity, cultivate collaboration, and ensure that every engagement builds toward deeper trust, greater alignment, and collective impact.
