Yes, however, BEC’s Organizational Resilience programs (BUILD, ENGAGE, CATALYZE) are only open to current BEC organizational members. You can learn more about these programs on our website, BLO Organizational Resiliency.
BEC’s current funding opportunities and Organizational Resiliency grant programs are only open to current organizational members of the BEC. Members will receive email communications from BEC when a new opportunity is available and with instructions for applying for a grant.
The BEC does not provide monetary support for in-network or out-of-network community events.
As part of BEC’s governance structure, we assemble teams of Black nonprofit and philanthropic leaders to serve on a community review committee for our Organizational Resiliency (OR) grant programs. This committee is responsible for making grant decisions for all OR programs. We generally assemble a team of 6-8 leaders for each community review body. BEC staff DOES NOT make any grant decisions.
No. Our model is only geared toward nonprofit 501c3 organizations or organizations fiscally sponsored by a registered 501c3.
